INK PRESS PRINT
in-school and community print workshops in Hastings, spring 2026
INK PRESS PRINT is a series of free, in-school printmaking workshops specifically for secondary schools in Hastings.
Inspired by Hastings’ coastal wildlife and local placemaking, we will be touring our inks, tools, lino and papers into secondary schools and engaging teenagers as co-artists to enjoy illustrating and printing contemporary artworks.
Pupils will take away their own prints, whilst also importantly contributing local ideas to help shape our public artwork Twittens for the town centre - due to be installed in 2027.
Taking place this spring, our workshops support GCSE Art & Design portfolios, and young people’s work will be celebrated and shared as part of the wider commission project.
